Welcome to web-pages of our countryside cabinets radio-server. This server is owned by Petteri OH6V.
This is a private owned, just for fun and hobby-server, no accounts are given to anyone, for any reason.Server specs are i5-2400 CPU, 16GB DDR3 memory, 240GB SSD-drive. Internet connection is Telia 150M Mobile 4G.
There is several radios attached to this server, few RTL-SDR receivers, Comarco MDR-150 145MHz 5W TNC/Radio combo etc.
Haapapelto
Property named Haapapelto is our free time / weekend / vacation
etc. QTH where we spend time, when we can.
The cabin is an old log/wood based house, builtd 1910.
Some major modifications are done by former owner after that.
Main heating is two fireplaces. And also we got a side building
that contains a summer cabinet and a sauna.
Hamradio?
This cabin is the main QTH (OH6V) for our
hamradio hobby nowdays. The QRM levels at our city aparment is
just so high, that there is no point to try to get on air there
(80m 59+30db etc..).
Here on countryside there is not so much
QRM, and the bands are... well, we can hear something ;)
